Before installing the Microsoft products, we recommend you first do a full assessment of your practice software and technology to ensure they are fully compatible. As always, running the latest version of Dentrix Enterprise can help you be prepared for any changes in the software industry.

Dentrix Enterprise Versions 8.0 to 8.0.5

Any version of Dentrix Enterprise from 8.0 to 8.0.5 is not supported on Windows 10. We recommend that you do not install Windows 10 or .NET 4.6 until Dentrix Enterprise 8.0.7 is released in Q1 2016. If you choose to install Windows 10 or .NET 4.6, you must first install an additional Dentrix Enterprise file on each computer. Dentrix Enterprise Versions Older Than 8.0

Because Dentrix Enterprise versions older than 8.0 will not work correctly on Windows 10 or .NET 4.6, we strongly encourage you not to install either Microsoft solution until you upgrade to a newer version of Dentrix Enterprise and install the additional file. Installing Windows 10 or .NET 4.6 without upgrading Dentrix Enterprise will result in complications.

DEXIS Compatibility

Dentrix Enterprise customers using DEXIS software should not install Windows 10 or .NET 4.6 at this time. DEXIS is currently testing several versions of their software and will have more information soon.

All other Dentrix Enterprise eServices have been tested on Windows 10 and .NET 4.6 and function correctly, including eClaims and QuickBill.
